Sabbath (Part 2)
The ancient practice of sabbath grows out of the recognition that God has made time itself holy. We have a complicated relationship with time. We are intimately familiar with it, as it is one of the most basic elements of what it is to be human. However, more often than not, time is our enemy. The goal of sabbath is to embody a different relationship with time—to make time our friend.
