Ezekiel (Part 6)
God promises to come to the people as a shepherd, to gather a scattered flock. While it may be tempting to hear this as a promise to bring the people of Judah back home from their exile, it is so much more: a promise to gather together a people who are fragmented, divided, and spread out. This promise speaks to the needs of God’s people today as much as it did when Ezekiel first proclaimed it.
