Sabbath (Part 5)
Jesus heals on the sabbath, telling us something very important about the significance of the seventh day. Often thought of as a day of rest—recreation—it is much more: it is God resting from the work of creation and inviting us to enter into the ongoing, unfinished work of re-creation. Jesus sets about to heal, restore, and mend on the sabbath, and invites us to do the same.
