When we dwell on the threeness of God, we recognize that God's very nature is relational. Relationship exists within divinity itself, and we are invited into that divine communion to be in relationship with God, and we are also called to foster the strong ties of loving community with one another.

To affirm the Trinity is to affirm that God's very nature is self-giving love. And if we desire to know and to experience this God, then in our own lives we must abide in love.
